Shantisha at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe August 2014

Four Seasons in One Dance

Shows running from the 1st to the 24th of August on Mercat Stage and Mound Busker 1 (see the timetable and maps below or download them by clicking the brown button on the right, next to the Fringe button)

In my upcoming show, Four seasons in one dance, I tell the story of Nature changing over Time with the help of my husband, who is a professional actor and plays an essential role in the show. To make the story complete we have carefully chosen the music, created some spectacular costumes with lots of meaning and intricate details, as well as a touch of one of our favourite styles - steam punk and, of course, have done our best to make sure you enjoy the show!

....Winter comes, all shimmy and shiver,

Shining and sparkling,

Clad in soft snow-white furs.

Now it's replaced by Spring

Young with flowers,

Gracefully swaying in silks, flowing, smooth.

Followed by hot, scorching-hot Summer,

Filling your heart with the beat of the drum,

Now it enwraps you in calm Autumn's breezes,

Now all your troubles are gone with the wind...

"This spectacular fusion belly dance performance will immerse you in all the four seasons in just one dance.   One by one, beat by beat, move by move…  Breathtaking, enticing, unforgettable. You will totally love it!"
