Acro-Magic Maniacs

Acro-Magic Maniacs is an artistic company which sprung from an international creative collaboration. Lead creatives on the team are coming from Edinburgh, Scotland (Alexander the Great entertainment, https://alexanderthegreatentertainments.co.uk ) and Russia (Shantisha and Ivan). The team first came together during the Fringe 2019 and started training in Edinburgh to bring a new show to the Fringe. The lead creatives then met for training multiple times both in Edinburgh and in Russia, where Craig Alexander (the founder of Alexander the Great Entertainments) came to visit in Autumn 2019 for intensive training at local facilities and in order to devise a new show together with Shantisha and Ivan. The show was registered to be presented for the audiences at the Fringe 2020 under the title of #Screen! and was focusing on the intricate relationship between the internet connection and people’s ability to truly connect. The show was then cancelled due to the pandemic. The team is eager to bring #Screen! to the Fringe in 2021 along with the revised version of the All-Star Cabaret with even more acrobatics, magic, dancing, singing and variety!
